Victoria, B.C., June 5, 2012 – Premier’s scholarships valued at $6,000 to $10,000 for study abroad have been awarded to 22 B.C. students, the Irving K. Barber British Columbia Scholarship Society announced today. A total of $148,000 was awarded to the B.C. public post-secondary students. This year’s recipients will go to a variety of countries to study topics such as anthropology, human kinetics, fine arts and international relations (see list of recipients).
