This is a great, cost-effective training for anyone involved in non-profits whether as staff or volunteers. Volunteer BC will host two substance-packed days of workshops, panel discussions and networking sessions. Theme: New Faces, New Opportunities will focus on how to engage the new wave of volunteer talent emerging in the province.

Hear how his organization has improved the relationship between police and First Nations people and how the volunteer base has grown each year simply because of the magnetic power of the culture of the First Nations people of Canada.
Yael Cohen – Let’s FCANCER
Yael is the Founder & President of F**K Cancer and will speak about her charity and how it targets Generation Y in an effort to engage them in the important dialogue about early cancer detection; with a clear call to action to involve, engage, and educate their parents. The movement aims to create a generation that puts an END to late stage cancer.
