Take Victoria’s 2025 Vital Signs survey today
Victoria, B.C. – In its milestone twentieth year, the Victoria’s Vital Signs program provides an annual check-up on our region, identifying issues while looking to the future with possible solutions.
This year, the Vital Signs citizen survey asks participants to weigh in on 12 issue areas related to quality of life in the region, including housing, safety, health and wellness, belonging and engagement, and more. Residents living in the capital region can fill out a short or long version of the survey online for a chance to win one of three Country Grocer gift cards.
The 2025 theme for the Vital Signs survey and overall program, “Your Voice. Your Victoria!,” reminds residents they can be confident in the power of their collective voice to have an impact in our community. Their voices and perspectives are critical to shedding light on what they see are the greatest issues and opportunities in the region.
Survey responses are gathered to produce a comprehensive Victoria’s Vital Signs report, which combines public opinion and statistics to provide a snapshot of livability and well-being in Greater Victoria.
“For twenty years, Victoria’s Vital Signs has been an important and influential report card on the health and wellbeing of our region. Each year, it’s used by sector leaders, decision-makers and the public alike to help steer the future of our community,” said Sandra Richardson, Victoria Foundation CEO. “Our region faces complex and integrated challenges, and through the collective voices of our community, we can continue to identify and coordinate on solutions that will last far beyond the next twenty years.”
The survey opens today and runs until Friday, May 30 at noon. After completing the survey, residents will be entered into a draw?to win one of three Country Grocer gift cards worth $100 each. Residents can double their chances to win by filling out the long version. A link to the survey can be found on the Victoria Foundation website at https://go.victoriavitalsigns.ca/survey/.
