The project's organizer, Lisa Brownlow had this to say:

"I have been blown away by the support from the community. On Wednesday night we put together the holiday gifts. We packed 51 backpacks with coats, toques, gloves, toiletries and much  more. In addition we stuffed 147 socks with toiletries, emergency blankets, mini first aid kits, note pads, granola bars and much more. We also provided gifts to a family staying at the shelter and gifts for the residents' common room. This Saturday we distributed the gifts to Rock Bay Landing Shelter. We were very excited to finally see the project come together! Thank you for all of your help and support."
