Celebrating generosity

On Monday, April 19, 2016, the Victoria Foundation held its annual Donor Tea at Government House, this year in honour of our 80th Anniversary.

The Honourable Judith Guichon, Lieutenant Governor of British Columbiaopened the afternoon’s festivities with kind words on the importance of community. Victoria Foundation CEO Sandra Richardson and Board Chair Patrick Kelly shared their thoughts on the value of our donors and the future of the Foundation.

The event also provided the opportunity to present a number of awards, some to those just starting out in their adult life, and some in recognition of long careers of leadership.

All of this, plus a series of musical performance from Victoria Conservatory of Music students, wonderful food and a view that can’t be beat from the Government House patio. We even had summer weather in April!

Thank you to all those who came out to share in this celebration of your generosity and the Victoria Foundation’s past, present and future.
