Apply for a 2013 Ike Barber Transfer Scholarship

Applications are now available for the 2013 Ike Barber Transfer Scholarship. Approximately 125 scholarships of $5,000 are available to students who, after completing two years of study at an eligible sending institution, must transfer their credits to another public post-secondary institution in B.C. to complete their degree. The deadline to apply is February 1, 2013.

Minnie Yu-Ching Teng was a recipient of the award in 2012. This fall she transferred from Langara College to study at the University of British Columbia. Minnie had this to say in thanks:

Thanks to your generous scholarship, I will be pursuing my goals with less financial burden. Your benevolence is inspiring – in the future, I wish to help students financially just as you have helped me.
