Vital People: Rainbow Kitchen

The Rainbow Kitchen in Esquimalt provides hot, nutritious lunches for more than 700 people every week. With Greater Victoria’s high cost of living and increasing food insecurity, the kitchen helps fill the gaps for the region’s less fortunate and also provides a sense of connection for visitors and volunteers alike. The Rainbow Kitchen run entirely by volunteers, and all off the food served is donated.
