Vital People: Habitat Acqusition Trust

Habitat Acquisition Trust (HAT) works to conserve nature’s ecosystems on southern Vancouver Island and teaches young people about protecting the environment. In this Vital People feature, students from Cedar Hill Middle School are restoring a Garry Oak ecosystem next to their school, with help from a project-based learning grant. HAT is overseeing the project, and works with students throughout the CRD.
