Vital People: PKOLS-Mount Doug salmon restoration
The annual salmon toss event at PKOLS-Mount Doug Park is helping to restore the ecological balance of Douglas Creek by transplanting salmon carcasses back into the ecosystem.
The event supports the recovery of this important salmon habitat, and it wouldn’t be possible without the help of dedicated PKOLS-Mount Douglas Conservancy volunteers.
