The Child Abuse Prevention and Counselling Society (CAPCS), through the Mary Manning Centre, provides therapy and victim services for children and youth in Greater Victoria who have experience abuse. The Mary Manning Centre is the only non-profit agency in Victoria dedicated to the treatment and support of child victims of abuse, and to the prevention of child abuse in all its forms.
Two students at Mount Douglas Secondary School recently created and submitted a video to the Youth and Philanthropy Initiative; that video won Mary Manning $5000! You can watch the video here.
