Vital People: Kidney donor saves child

Tanis and Chris were preparing for the birth of their second child, Coen, in 2010 when a routine test toward the end of the pregnancy turned their world upside down.

Coen’s kidneys didn’t function, he was too small for a transplant, and he would die without daily dialysis.
