Greater Victoria Housing Society

In the 2013 Victoria’s Vital Signs®  report, respondents to both the main and youth surveys included housing, homelessness and cost of living as the most important issues facing Greater Victoria. The Greater Victoria Housing Society was formed in 1996 to find affordable housing for seniors. With the lack of affordable housing hitting every age, the Society works to house people of all ages. The society currently oversees 807 apartments and townhouses across the city.
