Vital People: GVPL & Pacific Animal Therapy Society

The Greater Victoria Public Library‘s summer reading club encourages kids to read every day. Time spent reading is tallied and, at the end of each week, participants can claim a prize. The Pacific Animal Therapy Society was invited to attend the camp, so that the kids can read to a dog, an experience that opens up even the shyest of readers.
