Victoria Marine Rescue Society logoThe Victoria Marine Rescue Society's Kids Don't Float program aims to reduce preventable marine fatalities and to encourage marine safety by providing public outreach talks by uniformed rescue officers to youth community groups. The program also offers free use of personal flotation devices (PFDs) for children and teens. The PFDs and lifejackets will be located at four public swimming areas where they hang on hooks on large boards with colourful graphics that draw attention to safety and dire consequences if not used.
